I am a sports addict. There is no sport on the planet that I will at least give a shot to win my heart over. I’ve always dabbled in horse racing a few times a year — whether it be one of my annual trips to the track or the big races there is no better than rush than seeing your long shot pony cross the finish line first.
With the majority of professional sports on hiatus for the better part of 2020, I decided to do a deeper dive into the world of horse racing. After all, it was the only sport on 24/7 thanks to TVG, NBC Sports and Fox Sports. Bored during the day? What’s better than watching America’s oldest sport?
Now I am no expert in the two namesakes of this blog. However, thanks to Quarantine, I’ve become to appreciate both. Join me in my adventure of picking winners and celebrating with a toast.
